As a startup or emerging technology company, it’s critical for growth to generate regular, high-quality leads.
Formerly an IT salesperson, ViB founder and president Sean Shea was more than familiar with that reality. Years ago, the company he worked for wasn’t providing enough quality leads. Their sales department knew they had the potential to generate more qualified leads with access to a wider database. Instead of waiting for leads to come, Sean explored the idea of generating his own. He created an online magazine entitled “Virtual Strategy Magazine,” which conducted interviews with technologists, then wrote content around those interviews.
Next, Sean dove into email marketing. He purchased qualified data to market services via email. The combination of content and email marketing proved successful. So successful, in fact, that in 2010 Sean decided it was time to step away from his job in IT sales to instead generate leads for startup and emerging technology companies full-time.
That business, Virtual Intelligence Briefing (ViB), has now been providing high quality leads for over a decade.
