NEW YORK and MUMBAI, India, Oct. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, has been named a Microsoft Azure Expert Managed Service Partner (MSP) by Microsoft. This new designation recognizes TCS’ proven expertise in delivering the highest quality of service on Azure and builds on its status as a Microsoft Gold Competency partner.

Microsoft launched the Azure Expert MSP program this year to identify key partners that have verified expertise in delivering next generation managed services, and is intended to give confidence to customers when selecting a partner to help them meet their digital transformation goals.

Only the most high-fidelity cloud managed service providers, like TCS, were named Azure Expert MSPs after a rigorous audit by an independent third party and multiple customer references. The assessment reviewed TCS’ managed services, people, processes, and technologies to confirm that it met or exceeded requirements such as optimizing operations, delivering lifetime value to customers, and enhancing Azure’s service offerings.

As the preferred transformation partner to customers looking to embrace the cloud, TCS has been investing in building close alliances with industry-leading platform and solution providers,” said Raman Venkatraman, Vice President and Global Head, Alliances & Technology Unit, TCS. “We are happy to receive this distinction as an Azure Expert MSP and look forward to our continued work with Microsoft to make our customers smarter, lighter, and faster.”

Microsoft has a long-standing relationship with TCS, and our shared commitment to drive business results in the digital age are strongly aligned,” said Gavriella Schuster, Corporate Vice President, One Commercial Partner, Microsoft Corp. “As an Azure Expert MSP, TCS has demonstrated its ability to help organizations optimize their cloud capabilities and take advantage of the flexibility and enterprise-grade reliability that Azure provides.”

TCS is a Microsoft Gold Competency Partner, signifying that it is at the highest-level of the Microsoft Partner Network community and has best-in-class capabilities to deploy Microsoft business solutions. The company shares Microsoft’s vision of driving digital transformation, building on its industry-specific expertise and Microsoft’s cloud-based technologies to bring connected platforms to life in the Business 4.0™ era.
